I have the privilege to use some of the best grills in the world and have even been testing Weber grills for quite a while.
Due to my experience, I can provide you with a detailed Weber Genesis II S 345 review so that you can figure out if this grill is the right pick for you. Let’s begin!

Here is a look at the top features of this Weber propane gas grill:
The Genesis II S 345 is certainly not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. However, it does have the advantage of being a Weber premium grill and all the advantages that come along with it.
Namely, this is the polished stainless steel construction. Not only does this make the overall structure quite durable, but it also reduces the risk of rust and corrosion. In essence, this grill is a good investment as it is going to last you longer.
I also like the fact that this model boasts 7mm stainless steel cooking grates too. I know a lot of people like porcelain coated grates and I have to admit that I do too. However, with these grates you don’t have to worry about the top layer chipping away. As long as you season these grates properly, they are going to last you quite a while.
The other great thing about these grates is that they provide superior heat retention and heat distribution too. This means that they hold a lot of heat, ensuring that the food cooks more quickly and evenly. These grates leave gorgeous grill marks too, resulting in some of the best tasting grilled food you can whip up.
As far as the cooking surface goes, I am not overly impressed with the number of square inches. Weber has cheaper or similarly priced options with a much larger cooking area.
That being said, I do like that in addition to the 3 main burners, it has a side burner as well. This allows me to cook different kinds of food at a separate temperature all at once. The sear station on the Weber Genesis II S 345 is a nice touch as well. You can easily sear meats quickly and efficiently.
I always look at how easy a gas grill is to use before I decide whether or not to recommend. Fortunately, this grill is quite simple to handle. Read through the manual once and you should have it all handled.
It isn’t just how the Weber Genesis II S 345 performs that makes it such a catch. I really like the fact that it also includes an iGrill App connected thermometer with four meat probes. This allows you to keep track of the internal temperature of a lot of different foods at once.
It also means that you can easily set the temperature and walk away, having peace of mind that you can track the food’s cooking progress via an app.
I also like that there is a lot of storage space here. To start with, you have the cabinet underneath the grilling station, a side table, and even hooks to hang your tools from. As a result, you can easily keep everything that you need for grilling right next to you.
It is also nice to have some additional features with the Genesis II S 345. One component that you don’t really find with many models out there but that is available with this one is the lighted control knobs. You can now find your way around for nighttime grilling.
You also get a premium grill cover. This may not seem like such a big deal but this is a pretty good quality cover and it is great for ensuring that your grill lasts even longer.
So, what is the final verdict for Genesis II S 345? I do like this gas grill – from the variety of burners to its high quality build to the backlit control knobs. However, I wouldn’t say that it is the best of Weber grills.
Still, if you are looking for a mid-priced gas grill with just enough of features to offer durability and ease of use, then this could be a good fit for you!
