We met in culinary school in 2004. We all came from rural backgrounds(Northern California, Michigan, and Tennessee), where the whole garden to table style of eating played a big part in our lives. Our close knit family lifestyle engrained deep-rooted traditions in our minds. So, we got together in early 2008 and formed Cathead's BBQ & Country Cookin', LLC dba Cathead's BBQ. Our goal is to keep those deep-rooted traditions, recipes, and ideas from our childhood alive with a fresh twist.
We have participated in San Francisco street fairs & festivals. Wineries have hired us to cater their special events. We have even set up our stand at Fort Mason for the Bay Area Derby Girls' bouts. CatHead's BBQ has also provided food for small intimate gatherings, weddings, and corporate lunches. It's up to you. We will customize our menu to make any of your events a success.
